- Samples Delivery Window: January 01 – March 20, 2025
Goods receiving time: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm. - We recommend using standard courier services (e.g., DHL, UPS, FedEx) after confirmation by our import partner.
- DHL, UPS, FedEx all claim that they are unable to provide “Delivered Duty Paid” services in Macau.
- You need to pay the customs duties in advance, ensuring your samples clear customs quickly upon arrival in Macau and avoid delays or hefty storage fees due to customs hold-ups.
- Your samples can only be sent out after you have made an advance payment of the import duties to the Macau government and after confirmation by our import partner.
- Import Agent: You MUST contact our import partner, Kerry Logistics (Macau) Limited, to avoid shipping delays before sending the courier. Please contact the Competitions team at Kerry Logistics via e-mail by March 14, 2025: EMAIL: logistics@worldspiritsawards.org
- Step 1: Please make sure to provide Kerry Logistics with the packing list, commercial invoice, and photographs of the spirits (both front and back views of the bottles).
The commercial invoice and packing list must include the Importer of Record: Kerry Logistics (Macau) Limited. - Your spirits samples cannot be sent out without confirmation from our import partner.
- You are responsible for all arrangements and costs, including customs fees, taxes, and duties.
- You must package your samples marked “Shipper accepts charges” on the documentation provided by your shipping agent or courier company, as all charges are your responsibility as the entrant to pay.
- Spirits cannot be accepted by our logistic partner if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid.
- 2 bottles per entry (700ml x 2 or 750ml x 2) or 3 bottles per entry (500ml x 3), totaling a minimum of 1400mL per entry.
- Please send your spirits samples to WSA logistic Partner’s Warehouse before Mar 20, 2025.
Address information on the Delivery Label , download the Delivery Label in “My Account” after enter and paid.
Spirits that arrives after the deadline date will not be accepted and refunds will not be issued. - The Delivery Label must be completed and attached to your box.
- WSA is not responsible for tracking the shipping of your spirits, please ensure everything is in order before sending your spirits.
The duties of Macau spirits are as follows:
alcohol ≥ 30% vol : spirits CIF Macau value x 10% (MOP) + total liters (L) x 20 (MOP)
alcohol < 30% vol : No duty applies.
! Please note, you will be responsible for all arrangements and transportation costs. The samples must be sent Duty Paid e.g. paying customs’ costs, taxes and duties associated with sending your samples.

Do I Need To Insure My spirits?
WSA and its logistic partner will not take responsibility for spirits damaged or lost whilst in transit. In the event that for reasons beyond the reasonable control of WSA, it is necessary or advisable for the World Spirits Awards to be cancelled, WSA cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss of profit, damage or expense of any kind incurred as the result of such a cancellation.
